Beautiful, authentic Victorian-era curling iron (circa late 1800s to early 1900s). This historic vanity collectible features an ornately detailed handle made of sterling silver, accented by a genuine mother-of-pearl thumb piece on the spring mechanism.

Before electricity, these tools were heated over gas flames or alcohol lamps to style hair and mustaches.
• Condition: Excellent antique condition. The spring mechanism functions smoothly and the clamp holds tightly. Natural age patina on the handle.
